1.1.1. pros: Fast, Easily networkable, developer friendly, easy
1.1.2. Cons: Not very secure, lots of backdoors, no photo-editing, or word-editing program of decent quality.
1.1.3. Focus on Windows 7: Windows 7 has many improvements. Improved taskbar, there are jump lists, it is much faster than the former Windows programs, can make quick launch icons
1.2. More than 80% of people use Microsoft Windows.
2. Linux: Open Source, Free
2.1. pros: Not device specific, very inexpensive, the source code is included, bugs are fixed quickly, more stable than other operating systems, multi-user and multi-task friendly, help is easy to find.
2.2. cons:Some programs won't run on Linux, not as popular as Windows, may be difficult to install, learn and use
3. Apple, OSX, Leopard
3.1. Cons:More commercially written software for Windows, complicated setup, some programs have a lot of bugs, the camera is somewhat slow when starting up.
3.2. Pros:Bugs and vulnerabilities are fixed quickly, crashes and lockups are less frequent, programs are easy to use, can still run Windows on Mac.
