Q6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of conducting this product?

1. EDITING
1.1. When editing I used different software's. One was 'Premier Pro'. My group edited their whole title sequence with this software. It was easy and everyone was familiar with it. Teachers and so were good at using that software so if we needed help, we could always ask and because it was a well known software, we could just go online and require help from YouTube video's. Premier Pro also had all the effects we wanted to use for our title sequence.
1.2. We also used 'After Effects' to create our group ident. This made our title sequence original and contained a common feature used in well known title sequences.
1.3. We used Camtasia to record our editing process as evidence for our blog. This shows how well we edited our title sequenced and how familiar we were with Premier Pro and After Effects.
2. FILMING
2.1. I had also used a top light in the filming sessions to focus attention on a particular object. For instance, I turned the lights off and used the top light to focus all the attention on the diary so that it creates curiosity for the audience.
2.2. I had used a camera to film my title sequence. I learnt how to use the camera properly and experimented with the camera by creating different types of shots. This helped make the title sequence so much better. We used shots such as 'closeups' and 'medium closeup'.
2.3. During editing, we had used a voice recorder to record some foley sounds for our title sequence. For example, we recorded a phone call conversation and staples to make it more original and realistic.
3. USEFULNESS
3.1. All the equipment used during filming was very useful because not only did it create an effect in our title sequence, but it also created an atmosphere for when our audience watched it. We created our own faded out effect with the top light by switching it off and on continuously.
3.2. In my group, we carefully planned out what equipment would actually contribute towards our title sequence rather than wasting time figuring out how we could use it.
