1. Local
1.1. Drought in California- The drought in California has cost the government at least 3 million dollars. San Francisco is the deepest in the drought in California. 1.2. Homelessness in America- In January of 2015, 564,708 people are homeless in the U.S. 33 states are in the process of decreasing homeless people, meanwhile, 16 states are increasing the amount of homeless people. 1.3. Black Lives Matter Shooting in El Cajon- Shooting of Alfred Olango in El Cajon by police. Olango's sister called they police because he was acting out of control and running through traffic. Once the police got to Olango he was in the shooting stance and wouldn't take his hands out of his pockets. When he did, he was holding a vape device that looked like a barrel of a gun, so the police shot him. After that, protesters went around closing stores, schools and progressively getting more violent over the course of 3 days. 2.1. Racism in Australia- Australia has had a very racist past. They tried to prevent Aboriginal culture by taking all the land. Sydney's Olympics in 2000 brought back some of the racist past. 2.3. Territorial Issues with the South China Sea- In the South China sea there are about 11 billion barrels in the sea. There is also an estimated 190 trillion cubic feet of natural gases in the sea. Iraq Troops Enter Mosul- Iraq's army with the help of many other nations are hoping to kick ISIS out of Mosul.Nobody knows if ISIS is going to put up a big fight or after they are killed or kicked out if there are going to be booby-traps to follow. 3.1. Air Pollution in the U.S.- Mixture of solid particles and natural gases polluting the United States air. Citation:https://www.usa.gov/pollution

3.3. Donald Trump Encouraging Racial Behavior- Trump tweeted extremely racist comment about Trump supporters in Alabama when they violently "shoved, tackled, punched & kicked" a Black man wearing a Black Lives Matter t-shirt who was protesting the GOP front runner. 3.4. Democrat V.S. Republican- There are many differences between Democrats and Republicans in the Untied States. For example, Republicans tend to believe that taxes should be the same for everyone and that taxes shouldn't increase. 3.5. Religious Wars in the U.S.- The U.S. battle with the extent our religious laws should be to, is greater than the fight against terrorism.
