1. Legislative Branch

1.1. The House of Representatives & the Senate

1.1.1. The House- 25 years old, been a citizen of the US for the past 7 years, have to live the the state they represent

1.1.2. Senate- 30 years old, be a US citizen for at least 9 years, and live in the state you wanna represent

1.1.2.1. The number of Representatives is 435 and the current number of senators are 100

1.1.2.1.1. makes all laws, declares war, regulates interstate and foreign commerce and controls taxing and spending policies.

2. Executive Branch

2.1. The qualifications for the VP and the President are the same which is 35 years old, Natural born citizen, and a resident for 14 years

2.1.1. Both VP and President are in four 4 year term and the limit is 2 terms

2.1.2. powers include being able to veto, or reject, a proposal for a law; appoint federal posts, such as members of government agencies; negotiate foreign treaties with other countries; appoint federal judges; and grant pardons

2.1.2.1. The President acts as both the head of state and commander-in-chief of the armed forces. Independent federal agencies are tasked with enforcing the laws enacted by Congress.

2.1.2.1.1. There are 15 departments which include. Department of State, Department of Agriculture, Department of Energy, Department of the Treasury, United States Department of Justice, Department Of Commerce, United States Department of Defense, United States Department of Homeland Security, Department of the Interior, United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Transportation, Department of Education, Department of Labor, United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services

3. Judicial Branch

3.1. There are no explicit requirements in the U.S. Constitution for a person to be nominated to become a Supreme Court justice.

3.1.1. The president nominates some one and it is approved by the senate

3.2. As long as they want or if they get impeached or removed
