6. Conclusion

6.1. The definition of technology can not be limited to something physical only, but rather it is a more complex system of thinking, working and accomplishing anything physical or technical.

7. What I think now

7.1. Charles tuck, 2019,what is technology?: technology is knowledge or a set of tools that helps make tins easier or resolve a problem

7.1.1. pencil

7.1.2. printig press

7.2. Miles (1995) defines technology as the means by which we apply our understanding of the natural world to the solution of practical problems. It is a combination of “hardware” (buildings, plant and equipment) and “software” (skills, knowledge, experiences together with suitable organizational and institutional arrangement).

7.3. Megantz (2002) further elaborates on this in the preface of his book Technology Management:" technology is a wonderful, amazing, always-changing bags of tricks that help the human being to live healthier, happier and more fulfilling lives" (although these could take place the other way around).

7.4. Kevin Kelly (2010), Ted Talk : "technology is more than just the stuff in your pocket; it's more than just gadgets, it's more than just things that people invent. It's actually part of a very long story -- a great story -- that began billions of years ago. It's moving through us, this self-organization, and we're extending and accelerating it, and we can be part of it by aligning the technology that we make with it."

7.5. Beard, in the late (1920s), embraced a deterministic understanding that linked technology firmly to the idea of progress.
