1. DEFINITION
1.1. The gerund is a verbal form that can fulfill funtion in a sentence beyond those of a verb, such as subject, object, complement or present participle. it is structure whith the infinitive form of the verb + the suffix - ing , for example , the gerund of walk is walking.
2. EXAMPLES
2.1. 1. She is walking too much these days. 2. Walking is good for your health. 3. I will take a walking tour this weekend. 4. I hate cooking. 5. My hobby is reading.
3. INFINITIVE
3.1. DEFINITION
3.1.1. It is one of the non-personal ways that verbs in English can take. It looks a lot like the basic form. the difference is that the infinitive always includes the word (to) while the basic form never includes it.
