Present Perfect Vs Present Perfect Continuous

1. Use Present Perfect

1.1. + for or since: to talk about something which started in the past and is still true now "They´ve know each other for ten years"/ "I´ve lived in Chiclana since 2005"

1.2. How long...?: an unfinished period of time " How long have you studied English?"

1.3. Use for + a period of time: for thre days

1.4. Use since + a point of time: since 2022

2. Use Present Perfect Continuos

2.1. With for o since with action verbs to talk about actions which started in the past and are still true now " Nich has been sleeping since yesterday"

2.2. Don´t use with for or since

2.3. Don´t use with action verbs

2.4. For continuous or repeated actions

3. Structure

3.1. Affirmative: subj + have/has + been + verb-ing

3.2. Negative: subjt + have/has not + been + verb-ing

3.3. Interrogative: have/has + subjt + been + verb-ing
