5. At the end of the novel when Montag has already met Granger and the city gets bombed, Granger describes the city as a phoenix. The phoenix is a bird that at the end of its life sets it's self on fire and out of the ashes comes a new phoenix. -Sarah Stevens

13. At first, Montag thinks he is the only one of his kind out there but he soon found out that wasn't true when he met the young girl named Clarisse. He quickly realized after that he is not living the life he would of liked to live and he wanted to figure out why and how he ended up burning books as his job. -Jared Perry

14. This story foreshadows the events to come in different ways. At the beginning of the story Montag looks at the ventilator grille and mentions a cluster of something behind it. We would later lear that there were books in there. We also see another even foreshadowed when Montag arrives in the firestation andthe mechanical hound doesn't like him and it gets Montag nervous. It shows that later on, he wouldbe chaced by one because he'd get involed in books. -Malik Pope

15. Fahrenheit 451 had many many strange events but not only did this book teach me lots of school related subjects, but it also taught me how to respect an author and his hard work.
