1. General Anxiety Disorder
1.1. Symptoms: excessive, ongoing worries that interrupt day to day activity.
1.1.1. Causes: May occur during childhood or adulthood, comes with other mood or anxiety disorders.
1.1.1.1. Treatment: Psychotherapy, medication, behavioral modification techniques.
2. Social Anxiety Disorder
2.1. Symptoms: irrational anxiety, fear of embarrassment, negative perceptions affecting self consciousness
2.1.1. Causes: Unknown, but can also develop in early childhood to adulthood.
2.1.1.1. Treatment: Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Psychotherapy.
3. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
3.1. Symptoms: A person having difficulty after experiencing a traumatic event usually with sexual, physical, mental, or emotional abuse. Flashbacks, nightmares, uncontrollable thoughts occur.
3.1.1. Causes: A traumatic event would usually start the downward spiral of having PTSD.
3.1.1.1. Treatment: Medication, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement and Desensitization and Recovery Therapy, which is a psychotherapy treatment that realigns traumatic memory with more adaptive memories.
