1. Intro the the topic:

1.1. In the previous discussion post I defined what technology was to me. In this post I will discuss if I am addicted to technology. Topic question: The unit describes how people can be/are addicted to technology. Are you addicted to your smartphone/computer/the Internet? Why or why not? Support your argument with information from the course.

2. Creative Piece: Why did I choose to do a mindmap?

2.1. I chose to do a mind-map because I have always tried to do hand drawn mind-maps but felt like it never looked presentable. So I decided to try to do one through mindmeister. The mind-map is a great tool to see how your subtopics relate to the main topic. I also think mind-maps are good for representing ideas and analyzing content.

7.1.1.1.1. I scored a 5 on this quiz.. At the end of the quiz it stated that if you said yes to 3 or 4 questions that you would benefit from a digital diet (Digital Distraction Test, 2016). After looking through the result, I realized that I am not as addicted to my phone as I thought I would be. .
