1. introduce online prescription services

1.1. There are many benefits to patients ordering their own, and/or family members, repeat prescriptions online. it will mean pharmacy's will receive fewer telephone calls, saving time that can be spent on providing quicker, more responsive services to those patients who can not or do not wish to use online services. it will also reduce costs by eliminating prescription waste, encouraging patients to avoid stockpiling and to only order the medications that they genuinely need. Practices with more patients registered for online prescription services will have patients who become more capable, self sufficient and less reliant on the practice staff to process their prescription orders. Patients will also develop a greater understanding of their medications.

1.1.1. negatives of this online service may be that it isn't very reliable. As much as an online pharmacy might advertise how fast their deliveries are, they unfortunately aren’t exempt from the struggles of an online delivery service. Delays, low stock and licencing are all issues that an online pharmacy can face. there may also be extra fees for when ordering medication online to cover the cost of delivery etc.

2. introduce online appointments and online appointment booking

2.1. the pros of this would be that it may quicken up the process for patients as they wont need to visit the hospital or doctors for small issues. the online appointment . online access to care services would help make them more convenient with streamlined transfers between different points of care. this contributes to improvements in levels of patient satisfaction and more efficient delivery of services, supporting better use of clinical time which is therefore a pro. by also introducing online appointment booking it cab improve and speed up access t clinical expertise, leading to higher levels of patient satisfaction and enhanced health and well being.

2.1.1. the cons of this is the doctor may not properly be able to see the patient and there symptoms and may give a wrong diagnosis of what is wrong with patient. there are clearly some nervous responses to be had when considering patient safety during online interactions. regarding online appointment booking a con of this may be patients may not have the kind of medical information to understand how and when they should be scheduled for an appointment, depending on certain questions medical practices will ask of there health. for example is a patient having a problem that requires a routine checkup or do they need an emergency appointment.

3. increase tax that goes towards the NHS

3.1. the pros of this is there will be more funds to spend on health care and increase, therefore it will also increase the rate at which people can be seen too and get the treatment they need. With a good healthcare system it may encourage businesses and people to come to UK. Yougov reported that 42% of the population were for increasing tax from 20 to 21% to support the NHS.

3.2. the cons of this are people will have to give more money to tax which they might not be happy about or be able to afford. It might increase healthcare but lead to poverty due to people giving too much of their earnings to tax. another downside to this is that it lowers the disposable income of citizens, and lowers the consumer expenditures of the general populace, which will then hurt and effect businesses and the overall economy.
