1.1. The privileges and freedoms extended to all digital technology users,and the behavioral expectations that come with them.
1.2. Appropriate:Students properly cite Web sites or any other dirgtal media sources for information for class projects.
1.3. Inappropriate:Students don't give credit to they site where they cited information.
2. Digital Security
2.1. The precautions that all technology users must take to guarantee their personal safety and the security of their network.
2.2. Appropriate:Protecting your identity and making sure you have virus protection and firewalls that are up-to-date.
2.3. Inappropriate: Opening an email from an unknown sorce that may contain a virus.
3. Digital Commerce
3.1. The buying and selling of goods online
3.2. Appropriate: Students would be able to sell things that they don't use anymore with parental supervision.
3.3. Inappropriate: Students could sell products that are broken or damaged to a buyer and tell them that it is in perfect condition
4. Digital Literacy
4.1. The capability to use digital technology and knowing when and how to use it
4.2. Appropriate: Students that use the digital technologies in more than one way.
4.3. Inappropriate: Students are not able to access the resources or materials outside of school.
5. Digital Communication
5.1. The electronic exchange of information
5.2. Appropriate: Students can use websites to communicate with friends or family that live far away.
5.3. Inappropriate: Students could send there information to a person that they might not know.
6. Digital Access
6.1. Full electronic participation in society.
6.2. Appropriate: Students can look up information to use for projects at school.
6.3. Inappropriate: Students could use to much of there time on the computer instead of doing school work.
7. Digital Law
7.1. The legal rights and restrictions governing technology use.
7.2. Appropriate:Students know what can be dowloaded for free,what is considered copyrighted,and what needs to be paid for.
7.3. Inappropriate:Students make a copy of a copyrighted movie and sells it to people like friends,family, etc.
8. Digital Health and Wellness
8.1. The elements of physical and psychological well-being related to digital technology use.
8.2. Appropriate: Learns about health and wellness when it involves technology.
8.3. Inappropriate:Unsafe physical effects for technology are ignored by the student.
9. Digital Etiquette
9.1. The standards of conduct expected by other digital technology users.
9.2. Appropriate: Students that use their computers would speak to everyone with respect.
9.3. Inappropriate: Students send rude messages to others on Facebook or Twitter.
