3. Air Commodities Team (is responsible for...)

3.1. Acquisition and through-life support of vehicle and portable anti & de-icing equipment

3.2. Ensuring that the equipment publications contain appropriate operating procedures

3.3. Providing initial training on the use of new de-icing equipment

4. Type Airworthiness Authority (TAA)

4.1. The TAA are responsible for ensuring that the topic 1 contains approved fluids and appropriate procedures for anti and de-icing of parked aircraft. the topic 1 must include:

4.1.1. Anti-icing measures to be applied to aircraft in parked conditions conducive to icing.

4.1.2. The methods and equipment to be employed for the removal of snow.

4.1.3. Procedures for de-icing the aircraft that have explosive armament stores fitted

4.1.4. A pre-flight inspection checklist for use following de-icing to ensure that the aircraft is in a safe condition for flight.
