Edpuzzle This web tool 20. allows for teachers to take informative videos and breaking them down with questions that check for retention, quality of information gathering and the ability of the students to recall information that is delivered. Edpuzzle is a very useful tool that teachers can use in the classroom.

1.4. Youtube This is both a web 2.0 tool as well as an app. Videos are shared and can be viewed by anyone or set to a private setting that only a select group may view. These videos could be lessons, demonstrations, examples or even information enhancers. Youtube is a free app that can be accessed and used by both teachers and students.

2.5. iMovie This mobile app allows you to take a template and insert photos and text to make a video that can be used to introduce a teacher to a class, introduce a new chapter or topic, or usedbystudents.

3. Information Gathering

3.1. Webinar A webinar falls in the category of web tool 2.0. A webinar is an online presentation where conventions and presentations have formerly been the forefront of this information gathering. A webinar can be viewed after the fact, live, or interactively. Webinars can take the place of the financial burden of conventions and seminars allowing more people to attend and allowing for more opportunities for growth.

3.2. Podcast Podcasts are an app tool that allow you to find similar interests and people you find entertaining to distribute information. Podcast vary for entertainment, to informative, to informational. They can be used in variety of ways.

3.3. Blog A blog is a web 2.0 tool that writers write about events on a variety of topics. blogs can be used for continuing education for educators, as well as be educators in the classroom.

4. Social Media

4.1. Instagram This is a mobile app that allows the sharing of videos and pictures. This can be used to archive events, share information, update on events or happenings in a class or even just let the public into the class and see what all is going on. This can be used to also share information both entertaining as well as educational.

4.2. Facebook This mobile app is one that can be used to develop a group or class that you can share specific information to students and parents or keep public informed of events or ideas.

4.3. Twitter This is also a mobile app that allows for information sharing and updating. Using the character count allows for a quick and precise delivery of the information to a desired audience.

5. Communication

5.1. Remind This mobile app allows for a class to be connected. Parents, administrators, students and anyone else who is in a need to know basis can join the group and receive information distributed by the owner of the group. This allows for communication to a large group of people on a consistent basis.

5.2. Zoom This mobile app allows for video communication of a group. Utilizing this tool is good for groups who cannot meet in person but still wants to connect. this allows for users to be seen as well as heard and allows them to communicate while seeing one another.

5.3. Groupme Much like the remind app, this mobile app works on the same premise. It allows the owner to distribute information to a number of people but this app allows for communication between all members and allows the entire group to talk and communi\cate on a thread.

5.4. Gmail This is both a web tool as well as an app. Gmail is a way to communicate while being able to use a custom email address that is specific to your group or organization.
