The Congress Rule : 1937 - 1939

1. Hindus were free to assault Muslims
2. It was a Nationalist song which encouraged Hindus to expel Muslims from Hindustan.
3. Hindu - Muslim Riots
3.1. Muslim property was burnt
3.2. The abduction of Muslim Woman and Children was regular.
4. Band E Mataram
4.1. It was supposed to be sung before any council or meeting was started
5. Hoisting of the 3 coloured flag and the British Union Jack
5.1. To show to AIML that Congress and the British Government were the only two parties in India.
6. End Of Rule
6.1. World War Two had began and the British had said that India was also in war with Germany.
6.2. Since Congress wasn't informed, Gandhi was enraged and so they resigned
6.3. Jinnah celebrated 22nd December 1939 as " The Day Of Deliverence ".
6.4. The Muslim and Hindu hatred knew no bounds.
7. Wardha Scheme
7.1. It was an educational scheme based on Gandhi's philosophy.
7.1.1. 1. Teaching had to be done in Hindi
7.1.1.1. But the Muslims wanted it to be in Urdu.
7.1.2. 2. Spinning Cotton was made compulsory to learn in their Curriculum
7.1.2.1. 3. There were no religious teachings
7.1.3. 4. Students had to bow down infront of Gandhi's picture.
7.1.3.1. Which enraged the Muslims who thought of it as a method of pulling the Muslims towards Hinduism.
