1. What I Thought Before
1.1. Technology
2. What I Think Now
2.1. "Too often, technology is narrowly equated with computers and the Internet" (Hughes: 2004: 1).
2.1.1. Technology cannot be reduced to one thing, it has many aspects to it
3. Technologies
3.1. Pen
3.2. Chair
3.3. Energy
4. (Free SVG, 2014) Make life easier and solves problems
5. Learned from course content
5.1. "We know that its just not new, it actually goes way back and i want to suggest it goes a long way back" Kevin Kelly's (2010), Ted Talk
5.1.1. Technology is hard to define but, it can be said that it is something that has been around for a very long time. Humans have contantly used technology weather it be for creating new things. Such as, pens, pencils to electronic devices such as phones, computers to things like generators, windmills, resource mining tools and etc. Technology cannot be defined vaguely becuase it is many different things. As Kevin kelly says in his ted talk "We, as a species would not live very long. We would die by the billions and very quickly" Kevin Kelly's (2010), Ted Talk. Without technology being used since far back we would probably not have survived and come this far. From hunters using different weapons to hunt, humans creating the type writer to make it easier writing to the present where companies are looking into hydrogen vehicles and ways to get more renewable resources.
5.2. "Technology is more than a collection of machines and devices. To go beyond simplistic intuitions about technology requires investigation of the human mind and socio-cultural environment as well as interactions with technological artifacts" (Isman, 2012, 208)
5.3. How my Ideas have changed
5.3.1. Technology Will not be the same forever. What we know now may not be the same 5-10 years down the line. It is always evolving
5.3.1.1. Why we need new Technologies
5.3.1.1.1. New Technologies will help advance humans faster
5.3.1.1.2. The quality of how we live our lives
