1.1.1. Blood is shunted around the fetal lungs

2. Ductus venosus

2.1. Carries oxygenated blood from the umbulical vein to the inferior vena cava

2.1.1. Bypasses the liver

3. Umbilical Vein

3.1. Carries oxygenated blood TO the fetus FROM the placenta

4. Umbilical ARTERIES (2)

4.1. Carries DEoxygenated blood from the fetus to the placenta

5. Foramen ovale

5.1. Septal opening between the atria of the fetal heart
