2.3.1. Cassio is very friendly in greeting Desdemona's even taking her hand even though their relationship is platonic

3.1.1.1.1. Iago kills Roderigo after he blames him for the attack on Cassio to Lodovico and Gratiano
3.1.1.1.2. Iago arrests Bianca for the attack on Cassio

3.2.1. Roderigo attacks Cassio but is unable to injure him

3.4.1. After Othello tells her that he is killing her because of her affair with Cassio Desdemona begins to deny these accusations
3.4.1.1. Desdemona continues to argue her innocence but Othello is already to outraged to see reason
3.4.2. Desdemona stays alive long enough to tell Emilia that she killed herself not admitting that Othello killed her. Desdemona stayed faithful to Othello to her death
3.5. Emilia
3.5.1. Emilia informs Othello that Cassio is not dead
3.5.2. Emilia sees that Othello killed Desdemona and calls for help
3.5.3. Emilia begins to reveal Iago's schemes revealing the truth that Cassio and Desdemona were not having an affair
3.5.4. Before she dies Emilia tells Othello that Desdemona loved him
3.6. Bianca
3.6.1. Bianca sees Cassio wounded and starts to cry
3.6.2. Bianca is arrested for the attack on Cassio by Iago and Emilia

3.7.1. Othello hears Cassio crying murderer thinking that Iago has kept his promise to kill Cassio

4.1.1.2. After Othello demands evidence Iago tells him that Cassio calls Desdemona's name in his sleep and touched Iago sexually thinking he was Desdemona

4.2.1. Othello begins to believe that Desdemona no longer loves him due to his age, race, etc.

4.2.1.2.1. After hearing what Iago tells him, Othello vows to get revenge

5.1.2. Iago gets Othello to listen in on his conversation with Cassio so that he can get Cassio to retell what happened between him and Desdemona
5.1.2.1. In reality Iago is getting Cassio to tell him about the prostitute Bianca making it seem as though they are talking of Desdemona
5.1.3. Iago promises Othello that he will kill Desdemona
5.1.4. Iago tells Roderigo that Othello is being sent to Africa and that to stop Othello and Desdemona from leaving Roderigo must kill Casssio

6. Characters
6.1. Othello
6.1.1. Although the husband of beautiful Desdemona and the general of the armies of Venice, Othello is still an outsider as he is a moor. Throughout the play Iago begins to build an insane jealousy on this insecurity and his deep love for Desdemona. Othello’s usual composed and calm nature is destroyed by the wrath of his paranoia.
6.2. Iago
6.2.1. The antagonist of the play, Iago is Othello’s ancient and Emilia’s husband. The plot is centered on Iago’s manipulative and deceiving actions to become lieutenant. Whether it be lying or murder, Iago will do anything to get what he wants.
6.3. Desdemona
6.3.1. The wife of Othello and the daughter of Brabantio, Desdemona is quite a pure and gentle character. She is deeply in love with Othello and will defend this to her death.
6.4. Cassio
6.4.1. Othello’s lieutenant, Cassio is a young, good looking, and inexperienced soldier. Very loyal to Othello, Cassio seeks help from Desdemona after losing his rank in a drunken brawl. He eventually becomes a pawn in Iago’s schemes.
6.5. Roderigo
6.5.1. Roderigo is a rich and foolish young man who’s every action is driven by his infatuation with Desdemona. Iago uses this to obsession to his advantage, using Roderigo to carry out his plans.
6.6. The Duke
6.6.1. An admirer of Othello, The Duke of Venice plays an essential role in Act One where he mediates Othello and Brantio’s disagreements and sends Othello to Cyprus.
6.7. Brabantio
6.7.1. A senator of Venice and Desdemona’s father, Brabantio is furious when he finds out his daughter has run away with the moor, Othello. So enraged, he pleads to The Duke that Othello must have used witchcraft to bewitch his daughter and later warns Othello that Desdemona may trick him as she did him.
6.8. Bianca
6.8.1. A prostitute and Cassio’s lover, Bianca plays an important role of Iago’s scheme of convincing Othello that Cassio and Desdemona are having an affair.
6.9. Montano
6.9.1. The last governor of Cyprus, Montano’s main role in the play is to update the audience of the happenings of war and awaits the ships to arrive in Cyprus.
6.10. Emilia
6.10.1. Abused by her husband Iago, Emilia is very distrustful towards him, but very loyal to her mistress Desdemona.
