1.1. When the word begins with a consonant you must use 'a'.
1.1.1. EXAMPLES: An envelope, an apple, an onion, an island, an umbrella.
1.2. However , this rule there is an exception . If you are using a word with an ' h' move, as' honorable ' or ' honest ' then you have to use ' an
1.2.1. EXAMPLES: With words like 'umbrella ' , 'ice cream' and 'apple ' have to use : "an umbrella ", "an ice cream" and "an Apple" .

2.1. When the word begins with a vowel (a, e, i , o, u ) , then a need to use a ' ' dream as hear better and more appropriate to say .
2.1.1. EXAMPLES: A car, a house, a book, a desk, a computer.
2.2. Unfortunately , there are some exceptions to this rule. When the 'u ' has the same sound as the ' and' in ' you ' , or the 'o ' has the same sound as the ' w ' in " won" then you must use 'a'
