1.1. After receiving feedback from our mock, we decided to change the layout of the 'about' and 'news' section in which we used transitions, so that several images were shown on the screen. This was beneficial as it allowed for a variety throughout our website, and the allowing of more images per section of the website.
1.2. A criticism of our technical skills, could be the fact we were limited on the wix website, as a skill which we could have used is to include the use of an arrow within the merchandise, or any other section so there was as variety of interactivity for the viewer.
1.3. Within the 'more' tab of the news section, we had a live feed of the posts made by the band across the social media websites. This allowed for the use of reaching a global market in creating an establishment of the band, but also for the creating of a personal connection between fans and the band.
2. The use of wix
2.1. We used the wix website, to create our own website. This was useful as it allowed for the ability to easily insert images, text and hyperlinks; and for the use of a template layout, so that our website followed the conventions of a typical website.
2.2. Although in some areas the use of wix, limited our abilities to create effects on the website, and for the adding of backgrounds within some sections.
3. Merchandise
3.1. The use of the website realtimedesigner.com allowed for us to edit a variety of items which we could use for our merch. This was website was beneficial, as it easily allowed for us to incorporate our band logo with the items, so that there was a clear brand identity , but also for consistency, as the overall porducts appeared professional in comparison to taking images of items ourselves and editing the logo on
