1.1. Learning Profile: Evan struggles with all academic subjects primarily due to his inability to focus on a given task. His own self assessment is low on all subjects, except art, which enjoys and is able to produce good work.

1.2. Interests: very passionate and good in soccer; strong interest in cars; strong interest in videogames/online time.

1.3. Readiness: Evan will struggle to get the full chain understanding because of his lack of focus

1.3.1. Strategy #1: Use Jigsaw classroom for different parts of the nitrogen cycle to allow student to have enough social stimulation to stay engaged

1.3.2. Strategy #2: Use Frayer model in combination with learning centers (each learning center would have a different frayer model focus

1.3.3. Technology: One of the Learning Centers above will be an online game where the student navigates through the nitrogen cycle successfully based on correct answers

2. Sebastian: ELL

2.1. Learning Pofile: Strengths include math processes, good verbal communicator in spite of his language fluency, strong ability with 'hands on' work, such as puzzles, lab work, etc. Areas of work include reading comprehension/vocabulary, and social studies, where background and complex reading are lacking

2.2. Interests: Sebastian enjoys video games, especially as a social connector. He has a talent for singing and likes to 'peform' for his friends

2.3. Readiness: Sebastian will likely struggle with the more advanced vocabulary used to discuss the nitrogen cycle, but with the right accommodations, the concepts will be accessible to him

2.3.1. Strategy #1: Use a cartoon video to demonstrate all phases of the nitrogen cycle using simple language. The visual diagramming will help deepen understanding

2.3.2. Strategy #2: Provide a list of vocabulary words that will be challenging
