The three philosophes John Locke, Baron de Montesquieu and Jean-Jacques Rousseau all had their own ideas politically. Some of those ideas were similar, but they also had differences. Gradually, they started to change their views, like Montesquieu who changed his beliefs and began to side with Locke and Rousseau.
