1.4. Not stressful

2. This was drawn together from the feedback shared at the Bertha Park High School Open Evening on 2 May 2018 and the community consultation that took place between May and June 2018

3. Ideas for achieving this

3.1. Pupils, staff and parents continue to have a voice during this process and once the school is open. Have suggestion boxes/virtual places where pupils, staff & parents can give constructive feedback and suggestions (anonymously if need be) on how to improve things so that everyone feels they have a voice. Would need ‘managing’ but possibly something the pupils could do to learn how to compromise, discuss etc.

3.2. Communication and honesty

3.3. "Possibly setting up a Bertha Park pupil council when the children begin S1 at the Grammar Regular meetings & communication with parents & children thought the next year about the ongoing development of Bertha Park"

3.4. Celebrate individuality, recognition and praise for people who are good at things that are not necessarily just academic in nature

3.5. "Approachable teachers and a no tolerance to bullying. Speaking to parents and children to make sure a happy and inclusive atmosphere is present in the school."

3.6. I think the school will shape its own dynamic aided by the pupils, staff and parents, given time.

3.7. Use resources available within the community and parents/carers of students, have an open dialogue. Be a safe and comforting place to be.
