2. Course Objectives

2.1. Upon completion of this course, students will: Demonstrate effective writing using sentence combining and punctuation mechanics within the context of writing tasks.

3. Course Description: Discover digital tools for learning sentence combining, complex and sentence writing within the context of reading and writing tasks

3.1. Week 2 - F2F - LEARN: subject, predicate, writing subjects and predicts, letter punctuation

3.1.1. Week 1 - F2F - LEARN: sentences, commands, exclamations, sentence punctuation.

3.2. Week 3 - Online - REVIEW: subject, predicate (Week 2). LEARN: sentence combining (conjunctions), using commas to form compound sentences.

3.2.1. Week 4 - Online - LEARN: More sentence combining, complex sentences, writing complex sentences, quotations (mechanics)

4. Assignments/Quizzes

4.1. Where: Off the Wall Tutoring, LLC

4.2. Online Quizzes (Week 3 & 4) - Kahoot, PowerPoint, and four (4) Blog entries

6.1. Attendance at all F2F classes is mandatory absence is justifiable. Late work is not accepted. Preferred method of communication: email or text
