Compass point reflection Door Mind Map: Compass point reflection

1. WORRIES: - Whether we will get some workshop planners to help guide us in planning workshops - How to incorporate some of the elements eg differentiation, choice and developing success criteria etc into online workshops - Incorporating personas into my workshops

2. I STILL NEED TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT…. - the new standards and practices and how they relate to/connect with PiP - the new workshop planner template - the design thinking process

3. NEXT STEPS: - Begin to map out how to start implementing the changes with my team in my own school - in order to deepen my own understandings - and working with my PYP coordinator on the process - Continue reading the documentation to become more familiar with it - Be active in the online-workshop facilitation point - Stay connected to other WSLs and maintain networks - Familiarise myself with the resources on ‘My IB’

4. EXCITEMENTS: - About having more up-to-date research-based practices to use in relation to the PYP eg focus on formative assessment - process and feedback/feed-forwards - The concept of agency and a focus on the learner, learning environments and the distributed leadership model - Having new workshops for early years and broadening the meaning of ‘leadership’ - Having new ideas to explore and play with - That reflection is now embedded throughout the PYP in a more authentic way
