1. Dutch spectacle maker, Hans Jansen, and his son produced the first light microscope in 1590.
2. Henry Clifton Sorby creates a metallurgical microscope to look into the structure of meteorites in 1863.
3. Ernest Ruska began to build the first electron microscope in 1931.
4. Erwin Wilhelm Müller invented the field ion microscope and is the first to see atoms in the year 1951.
5. Kelvin probe force microscope invented in year 1991.
6. Galileo Galilei produces a compound microscope with a concave and convex lens during year 1609.
7. Year 1665, Robert Hooke coined the word, cell'', when he saw the shape of the cells of a cork bark through a microscope.
8. Anton van Leeuwenhoek developeda better microscope to observe biological specimens at greater detail. Year 1674.
