1. Principle III: Responsibility to Students- Communicating with students in a clear, respectful, and culturally sensitive manner

1.1. This concept is a reminder of how important communication is when interacting with students. A good student-teacher relationships are dependent upon communication. Teachers need to be mindful of how they speak to students with respect always. A teacher who is consciously aware about the individual student(s) can possibly have a higher level of classroom management because students are more likely to listen and be comfortable interacting with the teacher.

2. Principle IV: Responsibility to the School Community- Demonstrating a commitment to equality, equity, and inclusion as well as respecting and accommodating diversity among members of the school community

2.1. This concept reminds teachers that the school community serves a wide range of students from various demographics(depending on the location) and that a level of respect needs to be maintained and the services we provide should not be limited as well as seek other resources to better assist students and their parents

3. Principle V: Responsible and Ethical Use of Technology- Staying abreast of current trends and uses of school technology.

3.1. Use of technology is necessary in today's classrooms, therefore teachers, as part of professional growth as well, should continue to learn what the new technology is to assist with students learning success. Modifications in lessons can be aided by technology.

4. Principle I: Responsibility to the Profession- Knowing and upholding the procedures, policies, laws and regulations relevant to professional practice regardless of personal views

4.1. This concept protect the teacher, the institution, and the student because teachers need to conduct themselves in a manner that not only provides an example among students to model but to maintain a civilized, safe, and structured learning environment and workplace. Everyone in a working/teaching environment should be on one accord.

5. Principle II: Responsibility for Professional Competence- Reflecting upon and assessing one’s professional skills, content knowledge, and competency on an ongoing basis; and Committing to ongoing professional learning.

5.1. These two concepts are necessary for professional growth and being responsible of ensuring students are receiving a high standard learning experience for their academic success. Being in the profession of education is not just about a teacher teaching but also a continuous learning path for teachers to be competent to teacher their students.
