1. Predictive Validity

1.1. Determined by correlating test scores with a criterion measure collected after a period of time has passed.

2. Construct Validity

2.1. Determined by finding whether test results corresponds with scores on other variables as predicted by some other rationale or theory.

3. Kuder-Richardson

3.1. Determines the extent to which the entire test represents a single, fairly consistent measure of a concept.

4. Split Half/ Odd-Even

4.1. Divide the test in half and correlate each half to one another.

5. Internal Consistency

5.1. Used only when test measures a single or unitary trait.

6. Content Validity

6.1. Systematically comparing a test item with instructional objectives to see if they match.

7. Criterion-Related Validity

7.1. Established by correlating test scores with ans external standard to obtain a numerical estimate of validity.

8. Alternate Form

8.1. Obtained by administering two alternate or equivalent forms of a test to the same group and correlating the scores.
