8. Life of the People

8.1. People led nomadic before development of oil industries. Nomads who rear sheep and goat called Bedouins are even today.

8.2. People follow Islam and speak Arabic.

8.3. Men wear gown called Thawb and head gear called Ghutra. Women wear abayah gown and cover their face with veil.

8.4. Export of oil has changed the life of people. they are rich. They work in construction companies, petroleum refineries, steel and chemical factories

8.5. Cities with skyscrapers, latest facilities, schools and healthcare centers have emerged.

8.6. Important cities are Riyadh and Jeddah. Two famous Islamic pilgrims centers are Mecca and Medina.
