1.3.1. Engagement in the classroom helps students to learn by including them and creating a new interest in the topic.

1.4. Accessibility for students

1.4.1. Everything needs to be accessible for all students whether they are hard of hearing or have low vision, teachers can make everything accessible for everyone.

1.5. Action and expression in the classroom

1.5.1. Action and expression is the how of learning for students and keeps them involved.

2.1. Ten rules for staying safe on the internet

2.1.1. 1. Keep information minimal, 2. Keep privacy settings on, 3. Don't visit cites you wouldn't trust, 4. Use a secure VPN, 5. Don't download from dangerous cites, 6. Create strong passwords, 7. Don't purchase from cites you don't trust, 8. Don't post embarrassing or inappropriate things, 9. Be careful meeting people online, 10. Always have an antivirus program.

2.2.1. The developing of the norms around technology.

2.3. Nine Elements of digital citizenship

2.3.1. Digital access, digital commerce, digital communication and collaboration, digital etiquette, digital fluency, digital health and welfare, digital law, digital rights and responsibility, and digital privacy are all elements of being a person who uses the internet.

3.2.1. Plagiarism is when you use someone else's work without their permission.

3.3.1. C- Currency, R- Relevance, A- Authority, A-Accuracy, P- Purpose

3.4. Licenses

3.4.1. Commercial and Other Licenses are images that are free from sites or require payment to the sites. Creative Commons Licenses are images that are free and need credit to be used.

3.5. Validity

3.5.1. The information needs to be truthful and have citations to prove the main idea.

3.6. Quality

3.6.1. The quality doesn't mean good or bad, rather it means if it's fact or opinion.

3.7. Images

3.7.1. Images are not free to use and most need permission to be used.

4. Theoretical Foundations

4.1. Cognitivism

4.1.1. The idea that the "black box" inside the mind should be opened and understood.

4.2. Behaviorism

4.2.1. The idea that a learner is passive when learning new stimuli.

4.3. Constructivism

4.3.1. The idea that learning is an active process that a learner takes part in.

4.4. Engaged Learning

4.4.1. The process where a student actively participates in learning.

4.5. Discovery Learning

4.5.1. The technique that uses past experiences to learn new information.
