1. People detector

1.1. This project idea essentially functions as a people counter. When the no. of individuals in the room exceeds 10, for example , the user is alerted via audio cue/LED signal and people can either social distance more effectively or leave the room

1.1.1. Wearable strap with an LED signal

1.1.2. Graphing Data is difficult and not very feasible

2. Proximity Sensor

2.1. For this artefact, anybody wearing a microbit will be alerted once anybody is within 2m of them via radio signalling. This allows for effective social distancing and it possesses dual functionality as it logs data of all individuals you interact with for a specific period of time which allows for contact tracing

2.1.1. A 3rd microbit will alert the other two when they exceed the safe proximity limit for a period of ten seconds or longer

2.1.1.1. A radio signal will be sent to the 2 microbits as a dispersion warning (audio cue, LED signal)

2.1.1.1.1. When two microbits are in close proximity, a radio signal could be sent via the 3rd microbit to a single central remote data collection point with the use of Parse (Github). This data will be used to graph, for example, the number of proximity violations conducted and this will be used to assess the intuitivity of the system.

2.1.2. Wearable strap with an audio cue and/or LED signal

3. Fever Detector

3.1. This system operates in the form of a wearable strap. It functions as a thermometer that alerts users (once their body exceeds the set temperature) via audio cue and they can effectively social distance or consult their local GP

4. Handwash Timer

4.1. This artefact is essentially a timer on which you can set any time for a countdown. Users set the time countdown as they please (HSE reccomends 25 seconds) and once the time is up they are alerted via audio cue that they can stop washing their hands

4.1.1. This artefact could easily be substituted for a phone timer (which would likely be more accurate) and graphing results from this system would provide pointless results (e.g 'how many times you washed your hands today?' is not an indication of the effectivity of the system)

4.2. The microbit needs to be elevated on an object (i.e steel cylindar)
