Brown Bear

1. They are usually found in North America, Europe and Asia

2. They shed their coats in the summer to stay cool

3. They eat mainly fish and berries

4. They stay in a den durning the winter because it is too cold out for them to survive

5. In the Autumn they put on 3.3 pounds of fat a day so it won't freeze during the winter

6. The brown bear lives in the forest mountains, meadows, and river valleys

7. They do hibernate

8. When preparing for hibernation the brown bear eats around the clock sometimes eating 90 pounds of food a day
