GXRA Paths Door Mind Map: GXRA Paths

1. Develop GXRA-branded content

1.1. GXRA-BRANDED MATERIAL across a range of topics, subjects, ages/grades

1.1.1. Created by contract workers/SMEs (initially)

1.1.2. Ideal for curriculum developers who don't want to teach (or who don't want a FT commitment)

1.1.3. GXRA-branded material belongs to GXRA and enters the library of materials that educators may opt to teach/learners may choose to "consume"

1.2. Benefits

1.2.1. Once in circulation, we can potentially take a higher percentage than 25% (Ts can teach without the burden of creating their own content) or price these courses differently

1.2.1.1. This allows for solely content creators/ solely educators to equitably coexist within GXRA marketplace

1.2.2. We pay for content to be reused and build up the GXRA-branded materials

1.2.3. We can have niche and a la carte offerings ready quickly (to start generating revenue) alongside longer-term projects

1.2.3.1. Success of niche and a la carte offerings --> quick revenue --> more hiring/support to develop longer-term projects

1.2.4. Establishes GXRA-branded content as diverse and high-quality

1.2.5. Can scale QUICKLY (once we can start to pay for content)

2. INSTITUTIONs

2.1. INSTITUTIONS HOSTING VR CONTENT via GXRA

2.2. Benefits

2.2.1. Easiest/Most desirable path; little maintenance

2.2.2. Establish marketplace early and dominate the market

3. Host EDUCATOR-Created Content

3.1. EDUCATOR-BRANDED MATERIAL across a range of topics, subjects, ages/grades

3.1.1. Created by Educators (who teach their own content)

3.1.2. Ideal for Educators who already have content and need more visibility

3.1.3. Ideal for Educators who are comfortable and experienced in creating AND teaching in VR

3.2. Benefits

3.2.1. "Repeat educators"regularly teach and reliably bring consumers to the site

3.2.2. Educators self-brand and do not rely solely on the GXRA marketplace for branding (could lead to other conversions)

3.2.3. Referral bonuses ensure teachers advertise the marketplace for us (and ultimately drive more folx to the marketplace)

3.2.3.1. This will likely happen very quickly (bolstering funds needed to develop more GXRA-branded content)

3.2.4. PD for Educators; Educators as mentors (VIPKid Model), Mentors provide Webinars and present at conferences or at schools

3.2.5. Resource Sharing Hub

4. LONGER TERM

4.1. Team of FT Curriculum Developers who work with their own freelancers/SMEs, in a discipline of choice, to bring more GXRA-branded content to the marketplace

4.1.1. FT employees and contractors can't "double-dip" (develop AND teach on the marketplace); this will help keep both paths attractive for different kinds of educators

4.2. Model being used thus far for higher ed in BOTH PATHs can be scaled down to K-12 institutions and individual contributors (niche, a la carte, short-term, long-term, etc.)

4.2.1. Once we see what these trends are in our HOSTING of educator-generated content, it can help us fill in gaps/where there's a need in our library of GXRA-branded content; Become the Angi's List of XR offerings

4.2.1.1. Be the Angi's list of VR: K-12 academic, K-12 other, specialized, higher ed, lifelong learning, etc.
