1.1. Yes, my idea about technology has changed a lot. Earlier, I used to think that technology is all about what is going to be in the future and all the present inventions. But, I forgot about the past, about the history that whatever humans did in the past is also a technology. The invention of cycle, paper and even a pencil is also technology. My view about it had broaden.
2. Why do we need new technologies?
2.1. Technology is an essential part of life and is important for past, present and future. It is essential for better life. Like the technology and invention of solar panels helped a lot to protect the earth. Technologies like this is essential to solve problems related to environment. It is also needed because it helps in connecting with people from all over the world. Technology is needed in the healthcare, to get cure of the medical conditons which are difficult to recover.

4. What is technology
4.1. *Before reading the module, I thought technology is all about smart devices which people use everyday. *Technology is all about the future inventions will be there in future to make the life easy of humankind. *In my mind, fiction and technology comes parallelly because I used to think about technology as flying cars which may be made possible in the future with the help of technology but for now this is all fictional. All the fictional movies which I see, I think it all may become real in future by technology. *For now technology for me is limited to smart phones, TV, Air conditioner, buses and all my daily essentials.
5. What do you think technology is now?
5.1. Technology is all about the things and inventions which human makes to make the life easier and to improve the quality of life. It not only includes machine and gadgets but also consider the everyday essentials for people. Isman (2012), Technology is not only about machines but also about knowledge. American national research council (2012), Technology is all the systems and processess that are made by humans. Hughes (2004), Technology is complicated and is a relationship between the society, culture and the environment.
