3.2. Jack that killed Bod's family isn't the only evil one in the story. The Jacks of All Trades are a group. It's an organization called brotherhood, or fraternal order.

4.1. Silas is Bod's guardian. He takes care of all of Bod’s basic needs, like food and shelter.
