Ecological Levels of Organization

1. Individual

1.1. Ex. A gold toad by it's self

1.2. It consists of the imapcts of the one organism.

2. Ecosystem

2.1. Ex. Forests

2.2. Forests consist of many different communities and populations.

3. Biosphere

3.1. Ex. The Earth

3.2. The Earth is made up of everything thing in a biosphere including populations, communities, individuals, and ecosystems.

4. Population

4.1. Ex. The fleas on a dog

4.2. The fleas on a dog is a population because they are all in one general area.

5. Community

5.1. Ex. A population of golden toads together with all of the plant, animal, and fungi.

5.2. The community holds a bunch of different populations in it which are the toads, plants, other animals, and fungi.
