1.2.1. Expand Knowledge & Develop Ability to understand/review scientific info from more advanced sources.

1.3. Differentiated Strategy & assessment for teaching Group 1

1.3.1. This group will create 3 sample paragraphs each. They will create an insufficient, a sufficient, and a highly proficient paragraph. These paragraphs will then be used as practice for group 2 students.

2. Group 2

2.1. Who is in Group 2?

2.1.1. Group 2 consists of the 12 students who have some knowledge about the topic as shown in their score, but need to develop higher order thinking skills

2.2. Goal for Group 2

2.2.1. Learn More plus underscore Higher Order Thinking: Analyse, Evaluate, Create

2.3. Differentiated Strategy & assessment for teaching Group 2

2.3.1. Group 2 students will work in pairs to identify and score the paragraphs written by the Group 1 students

3. Group 3

3.1. Who is in Group 3?

3.1.1. Group 3 consists of the 5 students who appear to have limited knowledge about the topic

3.2. Goal for Group 3

3.2.1. Learn Material & Gain further knowledge they can teach class to develop confidence

3.3. Differentiated Strategy & assessment for teaching Group 3

3.3.1. Teacher will make an engaging & instructional video about the components of the Jane Schaffer Model for the students to watch at home. These students will then teach the information to the class the following day in presentation format.
