1. Vietnamization, Domino Theory, and Fall of Saigon

1.1. Over the years of fighting, the U.S wanted to get out of Vietnam. The U.S used methods with a process of Vietnamization. Shortly after leaving, Saigon then fell to the North, this succeeded the fail of Saigon, The Domino Theory then shows to prove how the neighboring countries such as Cambodia began to fall the communists.

2. Viet Cong, Vietminh, and National Liberation Front

2.1. These relate due to the fact that these groups were all types of fighting forces during the Vietnam war. The Viet Minh fought against the Viet Cong, which was later the given name to the National Liberation Front by westerners. These 3 groups all participated in the military campaign during the war.

3. Doves, Draft Dodgers, and Anti-War Protesters

3.1. All three of these terms were used to describe civilians who were against the war in different categories. Doves and Anti-war protesters were known to be against the war as a whole. Draft Dodgers were people who tried to do whatever they could such as leaving the country to avoid going to war.

4. Hawks, Agent Orange, Tet Offensive, and Escalation

4.1. These four terms all fit in as Hawks wanted there to be war in Vietnam. This added escalation to the war. Another factor was Agent Orange that was an air-force that used napalm attempting to eliminate North Vietnam. The Tet Offensive was a major turning point which favored the North that slowly began pushing America out.

5. Tunnel Systems, Ho Chi Minh, Ho Chi Minh Trail, and Ngo Dinh Diem

5.1. A major factor from all these deaths was from the Tunnel System on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Ngo Dinh Diem was a anticommunist Vietnam statesmen who refused to ally with Ho Chi Minh and later got support from America for south Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh played a role being the president of North Vietnam for 25 years. Ho Chi Minh tried to defeat the anti communist but had trouble due to their allies being the U.S.

6. Geneva Accords (1954), Gulf of Tonkin Resolution (1964), and Paris Peace Accords (1973)

6.1. These terms are all resolutions and big meetings that strived for overall peace and control regarding Vietnam and the battles being made. All three of these meetings and resolutions failed but were all related for overall peace.
