5.1. He founded a Hispanic advertising agency. And he was named one of the most influential Hispanics in the United States. He got his money from advertising on many tv commercials.

6. Oprah Winfrey

6.1. The richest African American of the 20th century. She was also the worlds only African American billionaire for 3 years running. Her show Oprah Winfrey, was very popular and got very high ratings. She also co-founded Oxygen Media. She secured her money through high TV ratings.

7.5.1. Sadly he suffered from 2 types of cancer, but was a part of his company until the very end.

7.6.1. With the help from her uncle, her cosmetic line still lives on today through her sons.

8. Oprah Winfrey, Lionel Sosa, and Robert Johnson all secured their money from high tv ratings. Bill Gates got his money from making computer programs and selling them early in his life. Sam Walton got his money from starting his own retail business before he started Walmart. And lastly, Estee Lauder get her money from selling cosmetics in local hair salons before h=she got her first big gig.

9. Their backgrounds did influence them, but not a lot. All of them wanted to be successful, so they went out and got what they wanted. Their handwork payed off.

10. I do think that their success came from their personalities.  These people were great with people and thats why they were so successful. They knew what the people wanted, and they gave it to them.
