1. The other important cause is the crash of the stock market that began in October of 1929, also known as ¨Black Thursday¨.

2. This triggered a lot of unemployment and in 1931 was when unemployment started to rise.

3. Although this did held a lot it wasn´t until WWII that brought US workers back to being employed.

5.1. The Stock Market was at its peak.

5.2. The economy kept on growing and growing until eventually it had to crash.

6. One of the causes is the overproduction of many things and the crash of the coal industry due to oil.

7. Franklin Roosevelt created the ¨New Deal¨ when he was elected president in 1935.

9. This was a solution to the Great Depression because it helped to increase public works that eventually employed 3 million people to do works such as building roads, bridges, post offices, and airports.

10. As an effect the government started to take part in more economic activities.

10.1. Another effect is that the Depression affected Europe as well, leaving many people without jobs.
