3.2. makeup was worn by men and women and makeup up was first worn in Egypt

3.3. The women of Egypt also decorated their eyes by putting "dark green color to the under lid and blackening the lashes and the upper lid with Kohl witch was made up from Antimony (a metallic element) or soot.

3.4. They created this substance called "Unguent" it was used a lot by men and women because it kept their skin hydrated and supple and the "Unguent" prevented them from getting wrinkles from the dry heat.

3.5. Kohl was used for darkening eyelashes and eyelids. Chalk was used for whitening the complexion, and rough was worn on the cheek.
