1. Learning Theories

1.1. Knowles The six assumptions that underline adult learning include adults needing to understand why they are learning. Learners in a sales course using social media will see immediate need and impact from additional training (Knowles, 1970).

1.2. Behaviorism Behavior theory principles include behavioral objectives, skill development, and observable outcomes. Sales training, and post training sales increases, should show an observable outcome from the training and be able to report this via social media (Wynne, 2009).

1.3. Cognitive Cognitive strategies provide a structure for learning when a task cannot be completed through a series of steps. These steps are similar to the steps in the sales model, and can be used in collaborative learning (Barrouillet, 2015).
