1. Conflict - The deliberate attempt to control a person by force, to oppose someone, or to harm another person.
2. Cooperation - Occurs when two or more people or groups work together to achieve a goal that will benefit more than one person.
3. Accommodation - A state of balance between cooperation and conflict.
3.1. Compromise - Occurs when two parties at odds each give up something to come to a mutual agreement.
3.2. Truce - Temporarily gives halt to the conflict or competition until a compromise can be reached.
3.3. Mediation - Involves a third party who acts as an adviser and counselor to guide the parties towards an agreement.
3.4. Arbitration - A third party makes a decision that is binding to both parties.
4. Exchange - When people interact in order to receive a reward or a return for their actions.
4.1. Exchange Theory - This rooted from efforts to explain exchanges.
4.2. Reciprocity - The idea that if you do something for someone, that person owes you something in return.
5. Competition - Occurs when two or more people or groups oppose each other to achieve a goal that only one can attain.
