2.1. Good Journalism Etiquette - believe it or not, notebooks are a form of journalism. You are reporting on your own work. Have some integrity and do your work justice!

2.1.1. Attribution

2.1.1.1. Credit authors of original work, include links

2.1.2. Citing

2.1.2.1. No need to cite like a scholarly journal, linking to authored articles work well

2.1.2.2. Link to fellow notebooks with a quote perhaps

2.1.3. Accuracy

2.1.3.1. Everything is on the internet. Why paraphrase when you can copy and paste - blockquotes work well.

2.2. Collaboration in Notebooks

2.2.1. Commenting

2.2.1.1. Be detailed - explain what you like/don't like about an entry.

2.2.1.2. If you see an error, correct it. POLITELY!

2.2.1.2.1. Nobody likes a Troll.

2.2.1.3. If you can add to a discussion do it! Even if you think it is trivial information, it is important because you added it!

2.2.1.4. Brainstorm! Work out problems in comments. Don't be afraid to be wrong. When you are brainstorming there are no wrong answers, it's all just an idea!

2.2.2. Sharing work

2.2.2.2. include everything!

2.2.2.3. attribute co-authors, and share links to their resources

4.1. Note about textbooks / resources (obtaining for free is an important skill!)

4.1.1. If you can find it online for free, that's the best you can do!

4.1.2. If someone else has already done something, why repeat it? Just use it (but attribute the contribution)
