Don't Let Stereotypes Warp Your Judgments by Mind Map: Don't Let Stereotypes Warp Your Judgments

1. Stereotyping is a kind of gossip that makes us prejudge before we even lay eyes on people. Most people judge others by their name.

2. Stereotyping saves us the trouble of finding out what the world is like, it gives is a familiar look on the world.

3. What I learned from this that the world is full of stereotypes and most of them dont realize they are, or that they are stereotyping. People shouldn't assume what other people are like without meeting them.

4. To not stereotype, first we have to become aware of the pictures in our head, in others peoples heads and the worlds around us. Second, we have to realize all the judgement's that stereotype. Third, we can learn to be chary of generalizations about people.

5. People learn to stereotype as kids, we learn to spot the good guys from the bad guys.
