What do I need to become a RN? • High School diploma • Minimum Requirements • (GPA) of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0. • A science grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 • At least one of the four laboratory science prerequisites and much more. • (Please note I found this info threw Oklahoma university and there are much more requirements and changes due to what program someone may choose.

2. What type of RN do I want to be?

2.1. • Oncology • Definition o An Oncology Nurse provides care for cancer patients and those at risk for getting the disease. They monitor physical conditions, prescribe medication, and administer chemotherapy and other treatments. Oncology is one of the most challenging and rewarding fields in nursing and no two days on the job are ever the same.

3. What made me choose this as a career path?

3.1. My sophomore year of high school I had a friend who was diagnosed with leukemia. I was by his side threw some of the worst days he had. After seeing all this, I took classes for my CNA.I found out for sure, it is a career I would love to pursue.

4. What Do I have to offer?

4.1. • Compassion • Communication Skills • Interpersonal Skills • Respect • Problem Solving Skills These are just some things I feel are very important that a nurse should be able to offer.
