1.1. Characteristics: small, mobile

1.2. Advantages: internet, handheld, easily excess able, can be used at all times

1.3. Disadvanteges: smaller screen, smaller keyboard

2. Desktop

2.1. Characteristics: keyboards, monitor, mouse

2.2. Advantages: bigger screen, internet, bigger keyboard

2.3. Disadvantages: must sit down to use, usually in one concentrated spot, cant use in classroom or on the go

3. Notebook

3.1. Characteristics: paper&pen, simple and cheap

3.2. Advantages: can be used anywhere and at all times, cheap, first hand info

3.3. Disadvantages: slower than typing, run out of paper, can't be used while on the go
