1. Evaluate

1.1. At each step evaluate how well the step(s) before supported your goals. Document issues for consideration in follow on development projects. Make adjustments to this project.

2. Analyze

2.1. Identify learning shortfall (problem), objectives, learner skills, resources, delivery options, etc. My steps are to analyze each of these to identify all the variables/constraints to be addressed in the design phase.

3. Design

3.1. Considering the results of analysis, we will identify our learning objectives, the flow of the training, how the training will be delivered, how the results will be assessed at each step. I will break the training up into modules. For each module determine the objective, delivery method and assessment.

4. Develop

4.1. In the development phase we create the content to achieve our design. I will develop lesson plans for each module above, develop links/videos for students to access the content, exercises to practice or reflect on the content and methods to assess learning.

5. Implement

5.1. Train facilitators and learners on delivery method, make expectations clear, ensure facilities/technologies are available and ready. Since I am taking this course for online delivery, I will ensure instructions are clear so that learners do not get lost trying to follow the course.
