2. Description of the assignment: Select a topic and use Pathos, Ethos and Logos to write a persuasive essay

2.1. Before students start drafting their essays, I will let them listen to a good persuasive speech. The each student will be provided with a printed copy of the speech and will look Ethos, Pathos, and Logos and color code each. After this step is complete, students will share the finding with the class. Modeling a good persuasive writing will help them to drafts their own persuasive essays.

3. My Learning Theory

3.1. Constructivism learning theory: I believe that people construct their own understanding and knowledge of the world through experiencing things and reflecting on those experiences.

3.1.1. This theory defines my teaching style very well. Since I work with non-native speakers, it is important for them to see that what they do in class directly affects their careers and personal life.
