A trip to Europe

1. Objectives

1.1. to know more about Europe's monuments.

1.2. to be ready for our final trip

1.3. to learn together

1.4. to work in groups

1.5. to be a touristic guide the day of the trip

2. What is it about?

2.1. We will visit Europe's park in Torrejón de Ardoz.

2.2. Each class will look for information about 1 monument.

2.3. In our case, 1ºA will research about The Eiffel Tower

3. Steps

3.1. Class is divided in 4 groups

3.2. Information will be divided between these groups

3.2.1. 1.The most important facts of France

3.2.2. 2. Researching about the flag of the France

3.2.3. 3. Monuments' characteristics and fun facts.

3.2.4. 4. Looking for their culture

3.3. Then, they will do it at home and put it together in class

4. Curricular content

4.1. It is a cross-curricular activity

4.2. Taking advanced of the final trip to Europe's park, they investigate about it

5. Lessons

5.1. 1 lesson to explain the project

5.2. 1 lesson to put all their information in common

5.3. 1 lesson to present it to the rest of the class and to practice

5.4. 1 day to go to Europe's park and share with the other class our knowledge about France and the Eiffel Tower.

6. Evaluation

6.1. My rubric will consist on evaluating the

6.1.1. Investigation at home

6.1.2. Working with their team to put the information together

6.1.3. Explaination of the information to their classmates

6.1.4. Presentation of the knowledge to the whole first grade in the school trip.
